This type of design is about as Greek as it gets. It lends itself well to embossing translucent vellum and piercing opaque cover stock paper. Try it pierced on foil paper. This pattern also makes a lovely border — very elegant when simply pierced in white.
Plan ahead when using this design for a frame: you need to figure out what length each side will be with incremental pattern repeats.
