Shapes
Some curved or random shapes and designs can be expressed better if the square array of dots is abandoned. You can still mix the Off Grid designs with the other ones, but you have to position them by measuring or gauging the spacing visually. Shapes like eggs and ovals and trees do turn out better with smooth curves rather than stepped ones.
