This group of templates was designed to fill the areas made with the Scoring Templates. The P series is based on fabric designs and simple patterns. The PS series is based more or less on sashiko designs.
Consider directionality and density when choosing a Pattern. For example, a striped pattern can be used in relation to a shape in your quilt design. It might run lengthwise, crosswise, or be placed randomly. A stripe can be used in relation to the overall design, i.e. all stripes running vertically, to simplify or unify the background, or to make other elements stand out. The Patterns can have some surprising results when used in a quilt design. Experimentation is the key to success!
