This is a representational motif
that was originally designed to repeat lengthwise. But why stop there?
It can be combined and extended sideways, back and forth, and around.
The curly tail and the stylization make it an easy one to repeat either
whole or in parts. It makes some really cool square frames, and a very
easy bookmark.
