This grid of little squares can be modified easily into other useful patterns. You can make lines going in only one direction. Or try a line of diamonds made by embossing a diagonal row of squares; or a line of alternating squares. This pattern isn't too difficult to make into something larger and more open by skipping some squares. There a lots of possibilities. It's very handy!
