Accordion Card
This is an interesting card format (you can use it for other models too) that really makes a nice display. The Ultimate Pop-Up Card (see The Paper News) is great for the surprise when it is opened, but it doesn't sit on a table or mantle very well. This one has a more lasting effect. Some people have given this card to someone who doesn't have a Christmas tree. They put little packets of sequins, ribbons, or beads in the pockets on the outside of the card, to use for decorating the tree in the card. It's such a sweet idea that you might be in need of a tissue right about now.
