The Snow Globe that can be made with
the stamp set is very popular and I had many requests for a set of dies
to make this model. It was meant for those who had used the 3D Ornament
Stamp Set with its many projects. These days, a lot of people want to
skip the basics and go straight to the Globe. Be forewarned, this is an
advanced project. If you have never made any sliceforms before, you may
want to add another product that will enable you to become familiar with
the process before taking the plunge. The Cute Little Tree Die Set is
an excellent choice since you can put it into the Globe! (You can also
find that model in the Cute Little Tree Stamp Set, and in the 3D
Ornament Stamp Set.)
There are two other models that were designed to fit inside the Globe:
The Folding Snowflake, and the Small Snowman. Both are intermediate
level models.
This Globe will collapse for mailing or storage. You can put it in a
pop-up card too, but in my opinion, it is best on its own. An
interesting feature of the Globe when putting flat imagery inside is
that turning the Globe 90° will give you another set of surfaces to
decorate. You can create two different scenes inside a single Globe.
